  Training

As with all forms of sport, training is essential if you want to stay safe and be competitive. Neil Holmes powerboat training academy offers a dedicated training curriculum for our exciting race series. Dealing with both the theoretical and practical aspects of racing the course is taken over two days. For under 16's they welcome a parent to sit in on the class. The training is generally on a one-to-one or team basis and they encourage both the driver   and co-driver to attend the course.

Driver - 2 day course - £400                     Driver/co driver together - £600                      Co-driver on own (one day course) - £200.

If you wish to attend with another team they offer a 15% discount on the total price (4 people).

  Lifejackets

These are two examples of the most poplar lifejackets worn by our adults. These both have built in back supports.  Junior racers are allowed to wear lifejackets with additional back support in the form of body armour.  This is because to-date there are not any suppliers who have made the adult style which is fitted and adapted to fit a junior.  All lifejackets have to be orange or yellow in colour.
