Sponsorship can take many forms and we have tried here to be as thorough as possible in listing the opportunities available.
Sponsors Graphics on a Boat
Sponsor a boat with your company logo on and you can get your company name out there for all to see, the racing community, other businesses and the general public. This will give you an edge on your competitors, not many companies have the opportunity to advertise in this area, this makes you different from the rest, something you can make the most of in newsletters, websites etc. Of course the marketing opportunities don’t just arise at the race weekends. There is the travelling to and from race weekends, the opportunity for your company to be seen along hundred’s of miles of roads, by thousands of people each journey. Not only do we have our own race weekends, we also race as part of bigger festivals, such as the Dover Regatta and the Eastbourne Extreme Festival. We have also raced at such places as Cardiff Bay, Poole Harbour, Weymouth Harbour and many more. UKFFORC is also seen at the London and Southampton Boat shows, Goodwood Festival of Speed, The Motorsport Show and various other notable events. This is a family orientated, safe but competitive racing series based on honesty and integrity as much as skill and courage, and takes into account the protection of the environment in what and where ever we race.

Sponsorship does not have to end with the race boats. The following can also be sponsored:
Race course marker buoys at £500 per buoy per season, plus your costs for the graphics
Sponsorship of the divers for the weekend at £600 per weekend
Sponsorship of the safety crew at £400 per weekend
Sponsorship of the trophies at £350 per race weekend
Buy a Boat and get a team to race it for you
- Buy a boat for your company, either on your own or as a consortium with other companies, and get a team to race for you. Each race class use the same engine, with different sizes for different classes, to ensure a fair race season and end results are based solely on the skill of the drivers and co drivers. This has many benefits. Firstly you can have larger logo’s and company information on your own boat, again advertising your company nationwide You can then get yourself and your staff involved, coming to race weekends, talking to people about your company , and getting staff involved can only improve moral and performance. You can follow the performance of the team throughout the year’s racing, and enjoy the thrill of being involved at race weekends. You can also use your boat as a marketing opportunity outside of the racing, maybe outside your work premises, at local and national shows, and many other events you might want to get involved in.

Buy a boat and race it yourself
Buy a boat for your company and race it yourselves. The benefits are as above, but also so much more. You can put your staff through race training, another great team building exercise, and let your trained staff race the boat; this is a thrilling pastime, and one that can really motivate yourself and your team. This is an opportunity not to be missed, from the obvious marketing opportunities, to the thrill of the racing, and the enjoyment of meeting new people, new friends and discovering new business opportunities, the social side is as enjoyable as the racing is thrilling. Putting your staff, maybe the top performers, through race training will be and incredible morale boost, producing strong team building and excellent future results.
Costs are as above; obviously there is the expense of kitting out your race team, from race overalls, helmets and lifejackets, to the cost of training and race fees.
